SOCIAL MEDIA Marketing services

From August 2019 to April 2021, I worked as the Social Media and Communications Assistant for St. Lawrence College. I was responsible for creating eye-catching organic marketing content either individually or in collaboration with our graphic designers where I acted as a Project Manager, developing content calendars, coordinating with internal departments at the college, strategy development for both organic and paid campaigns, analyzing data and managing the inboxes for all of the official St. Lawrence College social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter).

I skillfully managed St. Lawrence College’s official social media pages and published comprehensive organic marketing content to maximize followers and engage with commenters and DMs to create a meaningful brand/ consumer relationship. I was able to grow as many as 300 followers in a month on the social channels using my skillful content creation skills and copywriting. During my time as Social Media & Communications Assistant (Aug. 2019), the college's Instagram page had a 47% follower increase (June 2019 - April 2021). The college's Facebook and Twitter pages have both had their followings grow over 10%.


In August 2020, I had the opportunity to assist with corporate website updates via Sitecore. Sitecore is a leading digital experience software used by organizations globally to create seamless, personalized digital experiences. For my project, I was responsible for making updates to the corporate full-time program pages for tri-campus. These updates included: new course creation, course deletion, timetable rearrangement, course code updates, and course description updates. This experience was very educational and hardened my pre-existing website management skills.

Other projects I have taken part in include: event photography, social media audits, content calendar creation, copywriting, content creation, content management, communications (internal & external), asset audits, market research, etc.

*Note: Not all SLC graphics below were designed by Saige Clark. Some assets were created by the graphic design team and represent content types and campaigns that Saige was a part of promoting organically on SLC's social media channels to boost brand awareness, leads, acquisition, retention, and engagement. 

digital recruitment campaign development - Brockville general hospital

From January to March 2021, I supported Brockville General Hospital through the planning, creation, and executable hand-off of a fully digital

comprehensive recruitment campaign to aid in brand awareness, lead generation, and application conversion. This was part of the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program's innovative student-run Ad agency (6th semester) where students assume agency staff roles and devise integrated campaigns to meet client needs.

 

I acted as the team's IMC Planner and Copywriter, where I assisted in the creation of a complete and innovative integrated marketing communications plan (print optimized file) comprised of social media marketing, web marketing, and outreach initiatives to increase ‘Careers’ page web traffic, engagement, and retention. I also helped design social and web-optimized graphics for the campaign and brand ambassador initiatives, to solidify BGH's branding and image to prospective applicants and healthcare networks. Additionally, I outlined best practices and strategies for organic and paid marketing, by providing targeting details, budget allocations, etc. to the client.

Contest rules & legality

I also have experience creating contest eligibility and legality terms of service documents. As part of my Social Media & Communications Assistant job at the college, I have created a handful of these documents as a print & web resource for social media-based contests held to help increase engagement and share positivity among the student community.

Social media & digital marketing consultinG SERVICES

Through my program, I was presented with the opportunity to take on miniature Digital Marketing Consultant and Social Media Coordinator contracts with two small local businesses in Kingston, ON. I worked on these contract positions simultaneously alongside my student position at St. Lawrence College and full-time studies.

The 2-month miniature contracts were for Broadmind Inc. and Kingston East Business Association. For both businesses, I was able to offer consulting services in my field of expertise, digital/ social media marketing and communications, aid them in their strategy and branding development and create engaging content.

Mock-up Certificate

I used my Adobe InDesign skills to create certificate templates for Broadmind's workshops.

 

Every workshop provided attendees with custom certificates of competition. The design of these certificates were important as Broadmind encourages attendees to share their certificates and experiences post-workshop online on their social media platforms. This free form of user-generated marketing is vital and requires the Broadmind brand to be showcased with strong consistency.
